  • What brought you to CrossFit?
  •  I have wanted to try out CrossFit for a couple years now.  I was getting tired of doing my own thing at the gym and not seeing any results.  Recently, I saw a couple of my friends have really good results with CrossFit and how much they loved it, so I figured it was time I started looking to join a CrossFit gym.  When I saw the sign for CrossFit 317 near my house, I knew I had to try it out.
  •  What’s your favorite memory of CrossFit (so far)?
  • My favorite memory so far is definitely my first WOD.  It was a rush being there with everyone working so hard around you, it made me push myself more than had in a long long time.  Not to mention to feeling of accomplishment when I finished.
  • How long have you been doing CrossFit?
  • I’ve only been doing CrossFit for about a month now.
  • How have you surprised yourself in your CrossFit journey?
  • Well the first surprise I got in CrossFit was how much I loved pushing myself.  When I was working out on my own I tended to be a little easy on myself, but I was energized by the camaraderie that’s created by everyone working hard at the same time.
  •  Why would you recommend CrossFit to friends/family?
  • I truly believe that CrossFit can help you live a better life.  All of the movements are very functional and transfer over to everyday tasks.  I love how inviting the CrossFit community is as whole.  Since joining CrossFit, I have researched it a lot online, and it seems that all those involved are looking for ways to make themselves and everyone around them better.  Also, I love how CrossFit can be completely scaled to fit your individual level of fitness, so it really can be for everyone.
  • What do you look forward to improving on?
  • The main thing I’m looking to improve upon is my strength levels and working my way to the prescribed weights.  That and double unders 😉
